Research Scope

Linguistic Research

  • Compilation of monosyllabic Proto-Turkic words
  • Roots surviving from the pre-Neolithic era to the present
  • Orkun tamga Unicode character set (U+10C00–U+10C4F)
  • Phonetic value and writing rules of each tamga
  • Identifying monosyllabic roots in modern Turkish

Programming Language Design Research

  • Keyword vocabulary analysis of existing languages (Python, C, Rust, Go, ...)
  • Achieving full expressive power with monosyllabic words
  • Study of APL, K/Q and other dense-notation languages
  • Operator and syntax design principles

Compiler Technology Research

  • Lexer / Parser / AST / Code generation fundamentals
  • Target platform decision (native, LLVM, WebAssembly, ...)
  • Tokenization strategy for Orkun tamgas
  • Study of reference compiler projects

Proto-Turkic Experts Invited

This project is led by Mete Esperart, who has devoted years to Proto-Turkic research. Experts in Proto-Turkic, Turkic language history, or ancient Turkic inscriptions are welcome to share their knowledge and insights via okaser.com.
